Gingerbread Templates

I do not have time to post pictures of my little ones doing these crafts at the rate I am making these printables for the “24 Days of Christmas Printables!” (You can like the album on our Facebook page to get notifications when I add new ones each day). I am enjoying filling our playroom with options.

This gingerbread man template is great for choosing to use it however you feel up to it maybe after reading a Gingerbread Man book you check out from the library or after making a gingerbread house in time for Christmas.

Each day the kids get excited about the templates because I give them options like:

Do you want to decorate the gingerbread man with glue and sprinkles?

Do you want to color him or paint him?

Can you trace the gingerbread man with markers?

Can we give him sticker buttons and yarn hair?

These templates just make it easy to use however you feel up to it.

Draw Mrs Claus A Picture For Her Fridge

If I were Santa’s wife, I would be saying “Yoo Hoo…over here. You think he could do anything without his supportive wifey at the North Pole?”

I mean, the girl deserves some credit too.

I thought it would be so sweet for kids to start drawing a picture for her fridge at the North Pole.

I made two templates….

One with most of the letter written out, but with a prompt that the drawing will be on the back of the letter:

And the second with space for writing on the back:

Christmas Wishlist Templates {Freebie}

I’m sure some of you have already had your kiddos write a wish list and a letter to Santa, but I haven’t yet!
So, today’s printable is the wish-list templates. Tomorrow’s is a Santa Template… both sets Free! 🙂

The first page of the template has the numbers 1 to 3 because I made a decision early-on that I was going to give each of my kids three gifts every year (just like the Wisemen 🙂 ).

But, I also included a blank template for all of you big spenders.

Christmas Memory Game {Freebie}

When I sit down at night to plan for the next day, I think about what would be a great activity for Sean Patrick. Last night as I was brainstorming, I realized that we haven’t played memory in a while.

But, I also wanted to make a memory game that the incentive for winning was not just pride.

So, each time a player makes a match they collect a snow card.

The player with the most snow gets to “shovel” the cards and set up the next game.

If you have any other ideas for winners of board games please share them in a comment!

For this memory game, nine matches can be made. There are numbers and words on the cards to reinforce number recognition and reading skills too!

(To make setting up the game easier draw a game-board with 18 rectangles for the kids to play the cards face down on).

The other extra page is a blank template if you want to extend this game by having the students cut up magazines to make their own matching game.

I will add pictures or a video of Sean Patrick and I playing this later but for now…
